I’m Lisa and I love everything design and I love creatively making a home feel like a home with simple touches. Living in the NW has made this easy with the beauty of nature and with modern shops to vintage shops in surplus. My story began when my husband and I remodeled a 1970’s home in 2010. I discovered my talent of updating a home with 2 young, busy kids at tow on a budget. I started shopping at local sales and finding treasures and giving them life in our home. My talent is using items in the home a client already has to incorporate them with the story of there home.
My experience with design and decor and creating a beautiful room has come with time and working with clients. I have learned that a statement doesn’t have to cost a fortune to look like a fortune. I am so thankful for my family for putting up with my ever changing style and projects in our home.
I live in Vancouver, and grew up close by in Portland, Oregon. I married my High School sweetheart. I am a Fire Wife. I have 2 inspirational children and my crazy cat. Because he loves only me.
The Impact of Giving Back:
Giving back to our community is also important to me. I have worked on a project helping youth in need at a local shelter to create a space to relax and have meetings. I worked together with the children to create a space with a style they waned with a natural Northwest flare. My hope is to continue on this path with children, elderly or families in need. Creating a happy space can really change the energy of a room and give satisfaction for everyone to enjoy.
